Grit McCreath has worked in education for over 30 years as a teacher and administrator, as well as served in leadership roles on boards such as YWCA Calgary, St. Albert Public Library, Junior Achievement Alberta and the Famous 5 Foundation, among others. She has won multiple awards, including Excellence in Teaching and Woman of Distinction. She is currently on the Board of Governors at the University of Saskatchewan, and Chairs the Human Resources committee. She sits on both the RESOLVE Campaign Cabinet and Major Gifts Council.
